s of papers 85 (PE) and PC of birds fed Diet III and IV when compared to Diet I and II. The n-6:n-3 fatty acid ratio was highest in the VT of birds fed Diet II (P<0.05). The content of lipid oxidation products as measured by TBARS assay was higher in the VT of birds fed Diet II, III, and IV when compared to Diet I (P<0.05). The total lipid content of VT constituted 3.1, 3.2, 3.0 and 3.0% for Diet I, II, III and IV, respectively (P>0.05). The P wave amplitude varied from 0.03 mV to 0.05 mV, the QR wave from 0.23 to 0.42, the RS wave from 0.25 to 0.45 and T wave from 0.16 to 0.28 mV. The duration of P wave ranged from 0.01 to 0.02 sec, the QRS wave from 0.02 to 0.04 sec and T wave from 0.04 to 0.07 seconds. The ECG profile of birds did not differ (P>0.05) between different treatment groups.
